My Korean name means “bright star" and I created bright star nails to help women feel beautiful and authentic to who they are and not what the world pigeoned holes them to be.

Hi, my name is Natalie and I’m the founder of bright star nails. I began my nail journey when my favorite nail artist abruptly moved back to her hometown in Japan. I decided that I did not want to depend on anyone else to do my nails (she is the best) and I was going to do them myself.

I got 2 certifications with Kokoist (a premiere Japanese gel brand) and then decided to attend Christine Valmy to get my nail license.

Please note: I focus on creating a small batch of artisanal handmade press on nails and so the stock is very limited. All sets are crafted by me, here in my workshop in New York City.
